She met her husband, Jim, ’40, at Stanford. Virginia Stevens Seaver, ’41 (history), of Lawrence, Kan., December 25, at 97. Survivors: his second wife daughters Sharron Holtz, Judy Nilsen, Nancy Blessing, Sally Harris and Nita Mortensen stepchildren Betsy Fornoff and David Blessing 16 grandchildren 30 great-grandchildren and eight great-great- grandchildren. He was an avid fisherman, a golfer and a member of the Magnolia United Church of Christ. He served as president of the National Confectioners Association and of the Seattle Downtown Kiwanis Club. ![]() In 1950, the family moved to Seattle, where he became president of Rogers Candy Co.
